The Office of Scholarships and Financial Assistance encourages all applicants to apply for financial aid.  If you should need any assistance with the application process, please reach out to us.

FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

The FAFSA allows students to apply for federal (and institutional need-based) financial aid. The FAFSA is active for one year and expires in May. The application becomes available on October 1st of each year. Fill out or renew your FAFSA at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. To submit a FAFSA, students will first need to obtain a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID) from the Department of Education at https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch. Hollins’ school code is 003715.

Please have your FAFSA completed by our annual March 15th priority deadline.

If you are having difficulty with your Federal Student Aid (FSA) user ID and/or password, call (800) 4-FED-AID for assistance. This video from the U.S. Department of Education should prove helpful as well!
